sneak peak inside my mini kitchen~

dear readers,

what an exhausting weekend..zillion things to do and almost successfully making me insane. My dad and i were busy planning our family holiday next month, finally we decided to go to singapore. I can say it was complicated. you know, next month is summer holiday and we still can't find a perfect place to stay there. anyway, i want to show you a picture...sneak peak inside my mini kitchen.. (still so plain...don't have time to fill and decorate the cupboard). last but not least, if anyone could recommend me any weekly rent apartment, or hotel in Singapore (not too expensive-near orchard road) i'll be sooo grateful.

Last night, i made this bread project. Bread's always fun to make. Do you know why? because its not so hard to make and it will always look so realistic. If you are at beginner level and you want to make something, I recommend you to make breads as your starter project

Chelsea and I ♥

This is my little sister, Chelsea. She asked me to publish her photos on my blog.
she's 7 yrs old, and she loves clay miniatures too.

Kopi Tiam~

Hi Everyone!
first, I want to thank you The mini Food Blog (Sumaiya Mehreen), for featuring my apple pie project  =D. and thank you for all the lovely comments... i can't thank enough

and now, i want to tell you about something..yes,Kopi Tiam. Do you know what Kopi Tiam is?

A kopitiam or kopi tiam is a traditional breakfast and coffee shop found mostly in Singapore and Malaysia. the word kopi tiam is a mix of the malay word for coffee (kopi) and the hokkien word for shop (tiam). Menus typically feature simple offerings: a variety of foods based on egg, toast, and kaya jam, plus coffee, tea, or Milo; a malted chocolate drink which is extremely popular in Southeast Asia, particularly Singapore and Malaysia.

Last week my boyfriend went to Singapore-Malaysia, then he told me about this Kopi Tiam. He said :"why don't you make miniature Kopi Tiam? I think it will be so interesting!"
OK! new idea! so, this is it! Kopi Tiam set menu..♥
p.s: its so difficult to make realistic kaya jam.. i've tried everything and i still can't find the perfect mix for kaya jam :c i think i'm going to buy TLS asap. ~.~"

It was 2am in the morning, my friend sent me a short message and he said "IS IT A MINIATURE?"
I laughed, then i said yes, it is a miniature. and the next day i woke up with my head filled with a lot of new idea about preparation table. do you know i never even make a real cake before?
special thanks: Barbara Dezza (miniature artist, member of CDMH) for the lovely apple tutorial.
